Over the years, I've heard any number of suggestions about changing one's perspective in order to get a more interesting photograph. Out of all of them, the two that have tended to work best for me are, 'Look up!', and 'Look behind you!' During my fat years, I avoided shooting from a low position as much as possible. I'm going through a thin period at the minute, so perhaps I should shoot as many shots as I can from ground level before I hulk out again...

Nailed It!
Sorry about that. Actually, not really. I've made a decision. I'm no longer apologizing for my stupid dad jokes, they're part of who I am. It's a coping mechanism, ya know, humor. If I didn't tell 'em, I'd have to cut you off in traffic. So, deal. Along the same lines, the ability to tell a joke should be a requirement for being considered an adult. I knew a person who was born in the 1920s, gone now, but he could tell a joke, mix a proper cocktail, hold his liquor, play at least one song on the piano. Maybe we need to bring back finishing school (j/k).

Eine Kleine Yacht Art
Greetings, friends and collectors! Welcome to to the technicolor view from my ranch burger home in the hills! You've undoubtedly heard of yacht rock. Well, cue up your favorite track and pour out a sweet libation, because I am pleased to present a little Yacht Art* for your enjoyment and delight this fine Friday morning. A little orange cuz it's Fall and a schtickle of magenta cuz, you know, magenta.
Tasting notes: All yacht art is captured using the most recently released state-of-the-art photographic equipment, and post-processed with eye-wateringly expensive computers and software. As you might imagine, the specifics change in real time, so please rest assured that our NFTs will be updated appropriately. (Best viewed on a 16K monitor in a 64-bit color space, but you knew that already).

Meatscape
This image is part of my new body of work entitled "Meatscape". It critiques a bunch of stuff and all like that. Right. Of course, I jest. I don't have what it takes to pull off a project like that. Plus, these days I'm trying to be a tad less conceptual. Anyway, let's just say that that it was more of a Winogrand moment in which I was curious to find out what a slice of prosciutto looked like when photographed. Not that great, if I'm honest, although monochrome certainly helps. The other kind of weird thing is I've never seen a pig with a rectangular leg before. It just makes you wonder, is all. A friend of mine bought an actual Iberico ham. I mean the entire leg. He stores it in the guest bedroom of his house. Now that's some yummy ham.
